About Gargaro's

There’s a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Arvada, and it’s none other than Gargaro’s. Located at 5058 Marshall St, this cozy spot has become a go-to for locals craving some delightful Italian cuisine. The moment one steps inside, the warm ambiance and friendly atmosphere sweep over like a comforting breeze, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day.

Now, let’s talk food because that’s what really counts, right? The menu at Gargaro’s boasts a variety of Italian classics with a few twists that keep things exciting. Think piping hot wood-fired pizzas topped with fresh ingredients, perfectly al dente pasta dishes, and that irresistible smell of garlic wafting through the air. One of the highlights has to be their homemade lasagna, where every layer sings with flavor. Another must-try is the seafood linguine, which showcases the chef’s expertise in balancing rich flavors without overpowering the palate.

For those who might want something lighter, the salads are equally impressive, featuring crisp greens and house-made dressings that elevate the meal. Of course, it wouldn’t be an Italian restaurant without a delectable dessert menu, and the tiramisu here is a showstopper—layers of espresso-soaked cake and creamy mascarpone that dance in perfect harmony.

Located conveniently in Arvada, Gargaro’s is easily accessible for anyone looking for great food without the fuss of a big-city vibe. It’s just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Denver to maintain that charming, community-oriented feel. I have driven by this place probably 200 times in my life and never realized it was a restaurant. When I discovered that it was, I had to try it as I have lived not far for a long time (and on the west side of town my entire life) and never knew it existed. It was great.

Definitely has its own vibe. I love that they open at 10 and close when they sell out. Something about not being so rigid is refreshing to see. The woman working the counter was extremely nice (and may or may not have paid for my Cannoli for it being my first visit).

Immediately you see that they have baked goods in the display. They also have other treats like pasta salad and soda. they also sell pasta sauce and fresh baked bread. I went with the meatball sub with cheese and peppers which was fantastic. It came with Lay’s potato chips, and I had a can of coke with it. I also got a slice of the banana bread which didn’t last long.

This place was great. A hidden gem. Simple but delicious food. A local secret of simplicity and great food. You can’t really beat a place like this, and I am glad I found it.

Speaking of finding it, may I recommend some additional signage? I mean it when I say I have driven this section of Marshall hundreds of times in my life and had no idea this place was even a restaurant.

Anyway, great place! 5 -stars!

Gargaro’s is a hidden gem. Family-owned for 39 years, and it shows. The meatball sandwich hit the spot, and my wife loved the Italian. We grabbed a few homemade cookies too — ridiculously good. If you’re in the area, definitely worth stopping in for a quick bite to go.

If you want delicious, no-nonsense food this is the place to go. We went for the first time and the gal up front was lovely and so helpful. We got meatballs and an Italian Grinder sandwich and both were incredibly tasty. They have cookies too and also various items you can take and make at home – we’re excited to get some fresh pasta and tomato sauce next time. Love supporting a family-owned place, we’ll definitely be back!
